queue Congressional Art Competition
Three students from Stone Memorial High School are finalists in the Congressional Art Competition. The first place artwork will be hung in Washington, DC for a year. The second and third place artworks will be hung in the local Congressional offices. Please help our students to become winners. The finalists are Chloe Melton, with a painting of a kayak on a lake; Malachi Kohl, with a pen and ink drawing of car doors; and Kyla Johnson, with a double exposure portrait of a young woman with flowers in her hair. The voting is done using facebook. To vote go to and click the Like button on the artworks done by our students.
You can vote for all three students. You do not have to be a resident of our district to vote. The voting ends at 5:00 PM CT on Tuesday, May 2nd. 


KOC High School Sports Medicine Workshop
A workshop for high school students interested in: the field of athletic training, common athletic injuries, rehabilitation of athletic injuries, handling emergency situations, basic taping skills, or hot topics in sports medicines.

Prom Tickets are being sold from April 4 - April 28 for $35 each.

Prom is on April 29 from 7:00pm.-11:00pm. Enter through the Gym Lobby.


queue Nursing School Almanac has just Launched its Third Annual Aspiring Nurse Scholarship
The Nursing School Almanac will award a $1,000 scholarship to an aspiring nurse who best demonstrates:
+ A track record of acedemic exellence, particularly in science and mathematics
+ A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare
This scholarship is open to all high school seniors who plan to persue a college education in nursing, including LPN/LVN, ADN, and BSN programs. Scholarships applications will be accepted until midnight on June 30, 2017.

Mandatory TN Promise Meeting
On April 10th there is a mandatory TN Promise meeting at 5:30 pm. in the SMHS cafeteria. Please be there by 5 pm.

queue 2017-2018 Dance Team Tryouts
The 2017-2018 Dance Team tryouts are coming up. On Wednesday 4/12, Thursday 4/13, and Friday 4/14, tryouts and a clinic will be held from 3:30P.M.-5:30P.M. in the Auxiliary Gym at SMHS.
